AMMNA Confirms International Fixture
A meeting of Presidents at this years Gold Coast International confirmed annual international fixtures for Australia's elite Men's & Mixed Netballers, through until 2015. Grant Crocker (Australia), Tokkie du Plessis (Sth Africa) and David Palaamo (New Zealand), were delighted to join together with a committment to act as international partners in the ongoing development of International Men's & Mixed Netball.
"The establishment of ongoing international events has helped AMMNA to set in stone the pointy end of our player pathway. Every youngster who loves sport, dreams of playing for their country. Now we have an opportunity to provide opportunity to make those dreams a reality for young male netball enthusiasts. With the Trans Tasman every two years, a tour of South Africa confirmed for 2013, and bold plans for the Gold Coast International every four years, the future is tremendously exciting for young players coming into our system".
Tokkie du Plessis was brimming with excitement at the prospect of hosting both Australia and New Zealand. "We can't wait to host the teams in our country. We are coming up with wonderful ideas, and will show everyone the time of their lives".
AMMNA is not resting when it comes to International development. The organisation sees excellent opportunities for nations such as Fiji, PNG etc to visit Australia for the Australian Championships each Easter. AMMNA has the capacity for such nations to compete in the Reserve Division, allowing for these teams to experience multiple matches at a level of play, from which the get a lot more benefit, than coming up against the very best from Australia or New Zealand.

Great news all,
The South Africans now know what is expected of them and we would like the cup to stay here in 2013.
